Venice is
located in Southwest Florida on the Gulf of
Mexico, midway between Tampa and Ft. Myers. Known
for its beaches, prehistoric sharks' teeth, scenic
parks and Northern Italian Renaissance
architectural style.
With a wide variety of housing styles and prices,
there is sure to be a home to suit every taste and
budget. From the Italian-style architecture of
downtown Venice to luxurious contemporaries,
comfortable and affordable starter homes,
waterfront condominiums, and villas along the
fairways in a golf course community, the choices
are many.
True to
it's name, Venice is completely surrounded by
waterways. Three bridges provide access to the
downtown area, which has come to be known as "The
Island Avenues of Venice." Crossing one of
Venice's bridges to the Island Avenues offers an
endless array of exciting things to do and see.
As one of the few cities on
Florida's west coast with no barrier islands,
Venice enjoys direct proximity to the Gulf of
Mexico. Once you visit Venice you may never want
to leave. |
